codes for Panasonic TV (CT-36HX42)

none of the Panasonic codes I've found are quite right (close, though not complete) for my Panasonic HDTV (CT-36HX42). Does anyone out there have these?

Also, any tricks to switch directly to a specific input on this TV (as opposed to cycling though them)? Most of my video sources go through the S-video input (via my receiver), but my DVD is hooked up directly to the composite input on the TV (no composite on receiver). So, I'd like to create a macro to switch directly to that input as opposed to cycling manually through video-1, -2, etc. over to composite-1 (and then back).

Thanks!

How come you aren't using S-Video for your DVD? S-Video is much noticeably better than composite.

You are in luck!! I have the exact same model TV (just got it a month ago) and have found discrete codes for on, off, video 1-4, and (as of last night) component 1 & 2. I'm at work right now, so I don't have them on me. I can either post them here or email you. Let me know which you prefer.

always better to post here, if possible, so it will be available to all (and can be found in a search forum).

Can we get these over into the files section to try out. The search for component 1&2 has been going on for some time. I suspect the availability of these selections is limited to only the latest (ie. HX-42) of the Panasonics.

you can try 'em out from right here, just copy & paste them into a word or notepad document and then copy & paste them into your actionlist.

I tried these codes and video 1-4 work great, you can jump directly to whatever you want (yeah!), but the component 1 and 2 did not work. Did the component's work for anyone?

Is there any update on this? I would like to program my remote for use with my Panasonic CT-32HX41. Thanks.
