I have a Nokia sattelite reciver 9902 S with a HD recorder.
On the original remote there is no way to record directly , you have to go in to a second meny first and select record.
But you can by a second remote with a keyboard and direct access record and play buttons.
Are there any body that have the codes for this remote or the record button ?
If you do please send to : 18133@telia.com

Regards
Mats

if you have to press buttons on the remote to get to this menu, learn the codes for each of these steps and create a button on your pronto with these codes (steps) as a macro (probably with delays in-between).

WHY??? that's what these remotes are all about.

macros allow you to completely set up your system to watch a dvd or play a cd

........with the touch of ONE BUTTON.

In this case it takes 10-15 sec. before the the second menu comes up (the HD have to spin up).
I just wanted a code to start it directly.

so on remote #1 (the one you have), the pvr will not accept the "menu" record (or play) until after the hd has spun up........

but, remote #2 (with the 'keyboard'), has a "direct access" record (or play) that the pvr will accept & hold in "que", until the hd gets up to speed?

two seperate & distinct codes for record (& 2 for play)? are you positive?

have you actually tried sending the "menu" record or play codes to the device
while the hd is in standby?

Look at this : [Link: nokia.com]

it's a keyboard remote and it has buttons for play and record and more.
But i am not sure of how it works.
I was hoping someone else did!

Keyboard Remote Control (.pdf)

it doesn't look to me like the keyboard pvr buttons do anything any differently than the regular remote buttons. keyboard functions still refer to menus.

there was also this on another site: "Only sold on the Nordic market".

looks like you're gonna be doing the macro-ena, after all.

Perhaps you'r right.
I will have to check with my Nokia dealer.
When i bought the reciver i was told by the salesperson that there was a remote that had direct buttons.
I was hoping this whould be a simple thing.
I live in Sweden so it whould be easy to find ,the remote that is!
I have also tried to find any CCF for the 9902 but there dont seem to be any on this site.
Is it called something else in ohter parts of the world?
I will get back when i have more info!

I have the keyboard remote. It simplifies the operations a little bit. You can press the rec button twice to start the recording, but what is mor important is that the remote contains discrete buttons for rew, fwd etc.

I can send it to you later on. I don't have access to my ccf while at work.

Hi Christian,

I have just bought a Pronto Pro (TSU 6000). I tryed to make it learn the remote of my Nokia 9902 S and it seems not able to learn. I placed both controls 5/10 cm appart and I am always receiving the "fail" notice. Is there any trick to make the Pronto Pro learn this remote? In case the only way to upload the Pronto Pro with this remote's code is through a CCF file could you send yours?

Thank you very much
