This is the error that I get when using Prontoedit 4.05. I just installed the latest firmware...so I know that the connection is good.

Any ideas? The pronto help files are woefully inadequate!

I'm a little confused, or maybe it's just semantics. How did you install the latest firmware if you can't communicate with the remote?

In any event, the most common solution is to tap the remotes screen (turn the remote on) just before you attempt a download or upload.
