trying to change a bitmap for a background; can anyone tell me how (and to add it to a gallery), and what size to make it? already have the pic, its just not quite the right size. haven't seen a tool in edit or in tonto. thanx

Bitmap manipulation must be done in an outside (3rd party) graphics programs. Lots of folks here use Paintshop Pro.
The full size of the useable area on a Pronto is 219 X 240. In order to make a background for a panel, you must add a frame to the panel, then in properties, "load" a bitmap to the icon property.

the image needs to be a bitmap. 1) add a frame to your panel (frames are used for backgrounds) 2) dblclk the frame and then click the icon tab 3)dblclk the icon box 4) pick the bmp file
