i decided to redo my keypad nad deleted the old one and then realized that all the links to that screen were now gone and i had to redo them. is there anyway to get around this issue?

that is why a lot of us have separated the UI and the learnt codes. What we do is create hidden unused panels that contain all the codes for a device. Then we create a UI and those buttons alias the hidden buttons. Since the hidden buttons are never used, you never mess with them

so you keep them hidden on the remote, like they are sitting on the sidelines and the screen on the remte is like a "shortcut" to them, the .exe ? interesting if this is how to do it. it really makes sense and helps this newbie!
