These are some codes that I have aquired from me sony str-db940 remote:

Power ON / Power OFF (not new)
Mute ON / Mute OFF
5.1 ON / 5.1 OFF
EQ. Tone ON / EQ. Tone OFF
Sound Field ON / Sound Field OFF (starts at the top i.e. Normal Surround on my receiver)

I also have an alternate "All sony off" command than the one posted on this site. Might be good for other systems where the one posted here does not work.

I'm curious if anyone would interested in seeing if these are good for other sony receivers. If so, let me know and I'll send you the codes.

p.s. the codes are all clean and garbage free.

Are those separate 'mute on' and 'mute off' codes. (not toggle)

If you have these, I would really like them and I'm sure that there are many others who would.

I've been searching for discrete mute code and nobody has them. The only solution is a volumn down, volumn up macro.

Please post them here, there, everywhere!!!!

I tried the codes. Mute on/off does work on 940, 333, 444, 555. Also, the EQ off works, system off, Sound field on/off work, and 5.1 on/off works. I think these codes should be on the "discretes" page, they could be very useful to many.

I have confirmed that the mute, eq, 5.1 and SF discretes all work on my STR-DB930.

However, it seems that the "SF discrete on" is just a "normal surround discrete on." And the "SF discrete off" is just a "2 channel (subwoofer off) discrete."
