Guess I'll join the crowd (again). I'm now 54, and semi-retired in Rapid City SD.

Well, if bomberjim can admit it, so can I.

Turned 55 in December, and not retired, but living in Naples, Florida, so it's like being on vacation, but still working.

54 and 5/6.

Started in this whole mess by collecting 78 rpm records when I was twelve and they were from the 30s and 40s. Still have a couple thousand.

Perspective: When I started in retail in 1970, the standard good product was this:

Receiver
Stereo
Phono input
several line inputs
tape loop
30 watts per channel
two channels
no remotes. What is a remote?
switches for two pairs of speakers
retail was $300.

See what $300 of today's inflated dollars will buy ya!
What an industry! Always getting bigger, always costing less!

It's almost as good as the comment by Fanny Hillberg, the Jewish Hooker: "What a business!. You got it, you sell it. You still got it!!! What a business!"

Also been into Jewish humor since 1963....
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Had the good fortune to visit Melbourne last year. You, sir, live in a terrific city (and country)!

Good on ya!
