Denon receivers have a mfgr.code of 1160 for the OFA-8811.Previous OFA remotes used 0160;as shown at HI-FI Remote.com Consequently, the power codes of 246 and 248 don't work.Anyone know the discrete power codes that will work ?

I'm pretty sure there is no way to generate the signals you are asking for on an 8811 without JP1. With a JP1 cable it is quite easy to install a device upgrade to match the old 0160 code, or to create key moves on the 1160 code that do it.
1160 uses a protocol that requires two-byte hex commands. Those cannot be entered by the 3 digit EFC numbers listed at hifi-remote.

Some (slightly dated) information is available at [Link: hifi-remote.com]The main body of info is available after you join the Yahoo JP1 group at [Link: groups.yahoo.com]
