I don't have the Toshiba or Echostar units, but
I've got a Sony (0000) TV. With a quick look at
the info from
www.starbase314.com I found a power
off code, and, with a little ingenuity (i.e.
noticing that Sony codes for opposite remote
functions tend to have a difference of 4 modulo
256), was able to derive the power on code within
a minute or two:
Sony TV (0000):
Discrete Power Off = 109
Discrete Power On = 113
Notice: 113-109=4. See? :)
