I can't get the Cinema 7 to change the inputs on this receiver. The "CH" up/down keys are supposed to cycle through them, but that doesn't work. Some of the number keys do switch to most of the inputs, like CD, Tuner, MD/DAT, etc. Except, I can't switch to the two inputs I need the most, DVD and DSS. Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Jake

I believe there are several Sony receiver codes in the One For All database -- try another. I know the LD code (which has been renamed to DVD) is, for some reason, not included on several variations.

DVD should be #9 on the STR-DB930. At least it is on mine.

On a related note in regard to the Sony STR-DB930, what are you using to change the Surround function?

I agree with Marks who said #9
selects DVD for the input on the STR-DB930.
But I have the same problem as Jake...Does
anyone know how to select TV/SAT...I tried to
get the Cinema 7 to learn it but the Sony
remote sends a single burst and the Cinema 7
needs it to be able to continuosly transmit
for it to learn the signal.

Thanks Dale

I programed TV/SAT to the #7 key as follows:

RCVR*,SETUP_**,9*,9*,4*,SETUP*,3*,8*,4*,7**

Now how about controling the Sound Fields and
Radio Presets? I'm still working on those.

Mike D; Where did you come up with that code? And what code would you use for number 4, DBS, (Video 1 input)? Just tried it and it did'nt work. I'm assuming a Sony 825 uses the same codes?????

I found the 384 code on www.starbase314.com for the Sony 0158 Mode. Video1 should already be
programmed on the #4 key with the 0158 mode. It's advanced code is 240.

Thanks MikeD. I origionally programmed this onto my Cinema 6 somehow and threw away my notes. Went out and bought myself the 15-1994 and could'nt program it, so I taught it from the C-6. Will redo and add to my PC notes.
