OK here's a strange problem I'm sure others have encountered. I want to program the network buttons so that ESPN automatically does "7-3-6-enter". When done manually it works perfectly fine 100% of the time. Now when I macro that sequence it works maybe 5% of the time. Sometimes it'll just enter 73, sometimes just a 6, sometimes just a 3. What's the secret? Even adding a 500ms delay between each digit didn't help. Could it be an issue with the duration each digit is transmitted? When I do it by hand obviously I'm holding down each digit for some period of time (let's say 1/3 second on each key) when presumably the macro just blasts it out very quickly and maybe some components need to see 100ms continuously of an IR code before it registers it as a keypress and not necessarily a delay between the codes. I really think that's what it is because I'm out of ideas. I tried programming in a macro that submits each key press twice to see if maybe that helped, but instead sometimes I'd get 7-3-6 then other times I'd get 7-3-3-6. Most often my component would even just ignore the maco all together, so something's up here.

I find the same thing occasionally. I agree it would be nice to be able to adjust the duration.
However, keep experimenting with the size of the delay. It took me awhile to find a good combination. 500 MS might be too long and some receivers may think you have finished entering the channel.
So, I assume the macro looks something like this:
Send IR 7 Delay 100ms Send IR 3 Delay 100ms Send IR 6 Delay 100ms Send IR Enter (or select or ch enter (whatever your box requires)
