Forgive me, I am new to this forum and website. I have downloaded the newest software and firmware.

I have found several downloads that I have put in my neo but the actual actions or macros dont all show up when I copy them to my existing configuration. It seems to strip out some of the marcros for some reason.

Also, why do I constantly lose all of my prior programming in the neo after downloading? Some stuff is still there but I always end up having to re-learn and create marcros every time. This is very frustrating and I am sure there must be a cause and fix out there?

Well, for one, if you do the MAcros on the remote itself, they would upload right(As stated in the readme file)

And if you cut and paste from anothe NCF file, it could mess things up as once any device or page is Delete, all marcos pointing to that is lost, more then likely same thing if you Cut & Paste.

To avoid loosing prior programming in the Neo, upload from the Neo to NEOedit and then edit that. When you download it again, it will re-download that previous programming (unless you change it in NEOedit).

When you download from NEOedit to the Neo, you overwrite everything, so unless it is in your NCF file, it will be lost.

As Steve pointed out, copying from another NCF can be complicated bacause any links or jumps won't make sense (for example, "jump to the XYZ page" doesn't make sense if you don't have an XYZ page), so those parts of the macros will just get deleted when you copy and paste from one NCF to another. In those cases, you need to read and understand the NCF you are copying from and decide how to fix the parts that will get deleted. For example, if you have a page called "RECEIVER" which controls your receiver, and the other NCF has a page called AMP which does the same thing. Then if you copy a set of VCR pages, you might have to replace a link to "amp volume up" with a new link "receiver volume up".

I realize I haven't been very clear here - hopefully you can understand what I'm trying to say.
