I'm a student who is doing marketing research for Marantz. That's why I like to know: What you expected of the remote control when you bought it and if the Marants remote controls could live up to your expectations. Please also tell me which of the marantz models you bought

Great remotes, but not ready for prime time. This goes for all remotes which require extensive programming. Software must be much more user friendly, with much larger database of bitmaps ect so the consumer doesn't have so much work to do. I can not comment on their other products.

Also, the Marantz remotes are all essentially Phillips products.
