Sumi Das . . . Sumi Das . . .

She is host of Fresh Gear on TechTV. Anyway - she does guest appearances on The ScreenSavers.

She did not like the Neo - but the negatives and the reasons she didn't like it were solved by the upgraded NeoEdit software. It seems she opened the package and installed and that is it. If she had upgraded - I think she would have picked the Neo over the Sony.

Are you saying she picked the Sony over the Neo? And they call it TechTV? Hmmm....Strange. Butch.

Her review noted that you could not "upload" from the ProntoNEO to the Computer - which used to be the case until software was updated. I just think she had an old copy of the software. That first version of NEOEdit was junk. With the updates - the NEO is a pretty cool little remote - slightly IR learning challenged - but otherwise a great little remote.

There is no way, no way the Sony should win over the Neo. Even with the old software. With NeoEdit 2 and the latest firmware, no comparison. That's my $.02 worth. Butch
