Hi guys,
I want to use channel logo's such as the weather channel ect... But how do I put them on my unit, and how do I assign a channel number for those channel logo's? I connect my cable through my VCR. Can anyone help me please.

Thankyou in advance.

Well, if you haven't done so already...download the channel bitmaps from the files section here. They might be in the Pronto files instead of the Neo files...I don't remember. Make sure you have the latest version of Neoedit by the way. Then, open your NCF in Neoedit.

Do you change channels on the cable box or on the VCR? Are you saying you run the cable from the wall...into the cable box...then through the VCR and into the TV? I'll assume you do.

Once you have Neoedit open, go to your CABLE device. Create a new screen (menu at the top INSERT > New Page or click the icon in the tool bar). Add a button to that screen. Double click on the button. Go to "bitmaps". Remove both the pressed and released bitmaps. Click on Select bitmap (released). A window will open up. Click on "New Category" button in the bottom left. Name it whatever you want "My bitmaps" or something. The new category will appear in the column at the left. Go click on thie new category you created. The window on the right will be blank. Click on the "Import" butto on the bottom right. this will open a window where you need to locate the channel logos you downloaded to your PC. Once you locate the logos you want you can highlight all of them and click OPEN. These logos will now appear in the window in Neoedit. Simply select the channel you want to add and click OK. you will now see that logo as the "relesed state" of the button you added. to make this change channels simply go to the "actions" tab. Click on "create Link". choose CABLE. scroll down to the first digit of the channel and add the code. I recommend adding a .1 sec delay between each digit or your cable box may miss a digit. For channel 142 you would create the following...link to cable 1....delay .1 sec....link to cable 4....delay .1 sec...link to cable 2...delay .1 sec. For a two digit channel you may want to create a link the the ENTER button rather than enter 0-2-3. Its up to you though.
