Hi all...I have a rc3200 remote (sr8200 too) on the way, and wanted to get a little start on how the heck this thing works...looks a bit confusing, but I'll manage:) Where is the best place to get codes for certain equipment? Equip list: sr8200 marantz, zenith high def sat receiver, panny rp56 dvd, mitsu 55809 hdtv...I'm not looking for a easy way out..just a start on what I've got myself into:) thanks much for your help in advance..3C

hmm, I know that the rc3200 setup has no database of codes either, so you'll have to learn all the codes!

I'd read, and then read somemore. The info you need is already on this board. I would start here and at the Yahoo Neo site and DL all the NCF files that have your devices and look them over.

You can also DL and use NeoEdit 2.0, and the new version is great, alot more stable. I'd only do this is you need the codes for a device that is built into Neoedit. RC3200 on the other had lets you input Pronto hex into the button if its a "Learned Code"

So use both programs. This is how, it is posted some where else, and not sure as I haven't did it in a while, but all three remotes use the .NCF file Ext.

They are nothing but .Zip files. Rename them and change them to the correct Zip Comment and you can open them up.

TSU500 uses 000
RC3200 uses 001
RU930 uses 002

So DL all the NCF files you want, doesn't have to be ones just for the RC!
