How do you program devices that are not part of the existing catalog ? I have two pieces of AV equipment that are not listed devices. One is a LCD projector by Sanyo and the other is a AV switcher by JVC.

You either learn the IR codes, or find a NCF file with the device in it.

Steve,
Thanks for your reply. When I try to use NEOEDIT to label buttons and then go to the IR codes, of course there are no devices for an AV selector or Projector. If I try to use IR codes from other sources like a TV's or something else, then try to learn the remote it always fails. I also couldn't find any ncf files for these two items. Any other suggestions ??

Look and see if there are any CCF files with them, then take and convert them using NeoHacker. You'll have to DL the Pronto software and install it. Open up the ccf file for the device, then copy the IR code's and then input them into that device using Neohacker.

Easyest way is to have you page allready layed out for the device with ANY learned IR code in place on the button, this needs to be there so that you can input the copyed ir code.

PS, What do you mean that you can't learn any Remotes codes?

Thanks again Steve............I'm going to try the ccf files that you linked for me and see if the work !!!!!

When I try to teach the remote a button from the pj remote to a button of the Pronto, I get a FAILED.

I'm a newbe and neohacker looks a little complicated. I'll keep it in mind .

Thanks again.

Jerry
