I can't get it to learn any function.

Device type is DBS/Echostar/Code Set 1032
works, but is missing important functions, like guide, all PVR functions are missing, trying to learn any of them is unsuccessful. i.e. learn accepted by remote, but device do not accept it....

HELP!

I used to have a dishplayer the problem is that I can't remember if I used my TSU1000 or my neo with it, I know that one of them worked, I would do a search for learning and you will find a ton of tips and tricks.
ps, upgrade to a 501reciever and lose that dishplayer! You will be much happier and it works fine with the neo

I've read multiple posts about learning it and there is no luck with getting this one to work... TSU1000 works just fine. I want jog dial...

have you tried pressing the button on the Dish players remote first, then the NEO?? I had to do this with my RCA utv, which uses some of the Dishplayers code. Also, the remote isn't RF is it? As some are I think..never had dish network though

I Have the Dish Player 7100, 7200, & the PVR501, as an an aside the PVR501 & the NEO are berfect "Bed Partners" every command learned first time around!!!

That in & of itself might be a first...

As far as the 7100 & 7200 Dish Players go, I had the same problems, could not learn from the remote, BUT IT DID LEARN MOST COMMANDS FROM THE KEYBOARD.

FYI...TLC

I think you should be able to learn all the remote
commands with the Neo. I managed to get mine working
but it took a while.
I will send you a .ncf list of the functions for you
to cut and paste to your setup and try.

Hi
I don't know if you have solved your problem yet or not. If not, I have uploaded a ncf file in the NEO file area under Dish Network DSS Receivers with all the learned codes from the Dishplayer 7200 remote. I hope this helps.
