I bought a 43" Toshiba RPTV last summer. It's not HD. Does anyone know if all of last years Toshibas have discretes, or just the newer high end ones? I haven't tried any from the file section yet.

Hi, Toshiba does not have any discrete codes, they are the wrose product to automate, the only thing is to look for an anchor, like going from an input back to antenna i think you can use channel up...stuff like that...good luck.

Thanks. Actually mine does have discrete inputs. You can hit source and then the respective # 0-4. It was the off/on I was hoping for, but I guess it not that big a deal.

I'm not sure about discrete power for any Toshiba products yet, though workaround macros have been created. Even their discrete inputs aren't actually "discrete codes" -- it's just a "discrete method".
