I'm pretty new to this whole process (3days now) and I've got a ton of stuff figured out (thanks board!) but this one is still nagging me..
Once i'm in DVD mode how can i get the hard volume button to control the PREAMP? As is, I'm switching back and forth from DVD to PREAMP in order to control both. Is there a fix i'm missing? Much appreciated!

It's really easy actually. All you have to do is open the hard buttons for the DVD. Click on the volume buttons and click "create link." Then just link it to the volume control on you preamp and voila. I hope this helps.

Or, you can "learn" the preamp volume control to the hard volume control on the Neo while in DVD mode.

I would suggest the learning method as the link method will be lost on all uploads that you might perform, the learning seems to make it through the uploads

RWI, I have never seen any of my links lost on uploads. Is this something you have seen and if so what software are you running.

Learning can be a good idea even if you don't lose the links. A button linked ot another will not send a continous signal. With my TV for example it meant every time the volume was push no matter how long it went up 3 notches. No more, no less.
