Hello all!
I have been reading postings on this group for the last 2 weeks and finally decided to order my Neo 2 days ago from BestBuy.com ($120 with 2 day shipping and tax).
I did as suggested and tossed the CD-ROM aside. I downloaded NEOEdit and the Firmware upgrade last week and was ready to go when UPS showed up at 9:30am today.
SO FAR SO GOOD!
Got the firmware upgrade on the second try. (Tried COM1 first, than COM2)
I was amazed at how simple it was. I am running WIN2000. I plugged the cable into my only serial port and ran the firmware program.
I have also download the custom config that I have been working on for the last week.
I am leaving work early to see if the remote can actually turn-on and control anything!
