uh-oh: "invalid CF version or corrupt compact flash"

1) I upgraded firmware (no problems using port/cable)
2) I d'loaded/installed the 'new' neoedit s.w.
3) I d'loaded some of the 'system' NCFs to see how the whole thing worked
4) I choose Dwayne Shmel's since I have the same DVD and CD player...

but when I tried to 'download' from the neoedit to the NEO during the data transfer, the NEO beeped the the following message has appeared:

"invalid CF version or corrupt compact flash"

I have tried using the 'reset' under the battery cover, but it does nothing (the message above reappears)

any ideas?

i tried d'loading "matt.ncf" and it worked.
