Does anyone know what the values in Duration are for and how to use them?

Ok, I think I answed my own question. Kinda...

The second value determines how long the signal is sent. For example 0;0 sends the signal just as long as you hold down the button. Where as 0;5 seems to be around .5 sec. Now I'm just not sure what the first value is for.
