Yesterday I purchased a Pronto NEO and have successfully programmed it except for the following. It does not contain device codes that match either my STR GA80 ES receiver or my Panasonic VCR. Therefore I used the learn function to teach it most of the buttons. However, the REW and STOP buttons on the VCR and the device select buttons ( TV/DSS, DVD, and VCR) on the receiver fail during learning. All of the other buttons from both devices completed the learning successfully. I have tried all of the normal things such as avoiding Florescent lighting and reflective surfaces. The units are less than 4 inches apart. I would appreciate any help that can be offered. These are fatal deficiencies and unless I can solve the problem I will be forced to return the unit. Thanks.

I was having problems with the unit "learning" my Sony TV as well as my Panasonic DVD player. I have since returned the Neo and gotten the MX-500, which learned everything in the blink of an eye, with total ease of programming. Just my $.05 FWIW.....
