I just bought a protoNeo and spent most of the weekend trying to set it up. I'm almost there, however, I have TiVo (with a Sony recorder)and the presets don't work. Neither does manually "learning" the IR codes. I've not had a problem with my other components, just TiVo. Before I take this back to the store, I thought I'd ask to see if someone has a fix.

Make sure you have the latest firmware installed and then you will find two TIVO presets listed under VCR (I think). The second one will probably work okay (that's assuming the TIVO you have is the Sony 2000 and not the one with DirecTV). It works for me. It's terribly incomplete but it will give you a starting point. I have found that learning can be a challenge but I haven't had any yet that just don't work at all, then again I just got my Neo last Saturday and have a lot of codes to program yet.

Okay, I did a lot of TIVO programming on my NEO last night. I'm not quite done yet as I forgot a couple of the buttons. I should be able to finish it tonight and upload it to the files area tomorrow.

I'm dying for a Sony SVR-2000 ncf. My original remote broke and that's why I got a Neo today. I have the most current version of the firmware but neither of the Tivo codes have worked with mine.

Sorry about not getting that file posted. I sent it in but it never showed up here. Boy I really don't like the process for posting files here. I'll get it set up at lunch time today.

Okay, I've sent in the zipped ncf for the Sony SVR-2000 DVR. I hope they show up in the files area this time.

oddvark: putting a file on the site is done manually, so it depends on when Daniel has time to do it.
