Is it possible to program a device macro. I'd like to link to my tuner page where the input device is selected, then jump to the actual device. For example, I click on DVD. This links me to my tuner button for DVD input, then I jump to the actual DVD page

This is possible. You've pretty much described exactly how you do it. In NeoEdit, just go to a free button where you want the macro to be, go to that button's properties, and add the links and jumps just as you state them. Check the help in NeoEdit; it's pretty advanced (though sometimes incorrect)

Problem is: I don't think you can set up a macro on the device page (the first page that appears when you turn the Neo on).

I create one in NeoEdit ( a link and a jump), but when I save my config file, and reload it, only the jump is there.

The dialog box that pops up when you first open a hard button or page to edit the device page says that this page is automatically created everytime you save, and your changes won't be "remembered"

That's the way the first page works (the device overview page). You can only work-a-round it...you can't do anything about the way the device overview page works. You can use a 3rd-party "hacker" product to set your own custom overview page as default. A good way to overcome this without the hacker software is to create your own overview page as a separate device, and then program the F function button to always jump to your custom device overview page. With this type of setup, you just ignore the automatic overview page(s) that get generated.

That's right. That's exactly what I did, which is pretty much what the help file recommended. Create a new page under any one of your devices. Put your macro buttons there on the page. Then go to the function hard button and create a jump to the page you just did. I found the instructions for all this incorrect in 2 areas (or I did it wrong ;->): it says you can create a new (fake) device and put your new start page there. This crashed my Neo. It also says to simply add the jump under the ProntoNeo tree's Hard Button. For me, my function key would only jump to my macro page if the Device Listing was up. I had to put the Jump on the function key under every Hard Button for every Device. Then, boom, no matter what when I press the Function key, up comes my start page w/ macros.
