I programmed a macro with Press&Hold function to the Power Buttons on Mx-950. Single press on the Power on Button powers up my TV, Press&Hold for 2sec. powers all devices on. Now, when i punch this macro through to other devices, the punch throug flag appears on other devices and the single press is send but the Press&Hold command won't. Any idea why this won't work?
2.question: I read about a " Jump to " command wich will be relased soon to the MX-950 Software. Is there a release Date?
Thanks for answers.

Use the import macro feature rather than punch through. That should give you both macros. The "back" feature should be available in a week or two.

Thank you for your fast reply. I will do so. But, did that mean, that punch through with press&hold in this software version won't work?

No, you should be able to punch through both macros. I mentioned the import as a fall back to use in the meantime. Make sure you have the latest version of 950 editor.

I use 1.10.063 Editor. Meanwhile i tested the copy macro command whith the same effect. Only the " before " command will be copied. Maybe it's because the power button is a "standalone button" and not a site button? In the moment i use copy&paste for the job but it's not a solution.

The punchthroughs are most usefull when used with volume controls.

Using the punchthrough on the power ON buttons is not an effective implementation because each device has to have its own power On command and if you punchthrough it, the power ON command of the device you are punching through will override the power ON commands of the other devices.

your 'hold' portion of the macro should contain individual commands to power ON each devices. So translated, on your press and hold macro definition, the 'press' will issue a power ON to the TV and on the 'hold' section of the macro will issue a power ON to receiver ... power ON to whatever ...

If you are confused with this, try to download my MX-950 configuration on the files section of this site and play with it. You will be able to gain some fundamental examples on how to use the different types of macros and in the end configure your own foolproof MX-950
Best Regards!

Thanks spellbinder for your reply, but that's not my problem. I handle Power on/off as " Devices " and from any Powerbutton i "jump" to that Device where variables for on and off and delay apend from variables are added. My opinion for the Hard-Button on/off on the remote was, for "press" to switch off a device and for "press&hold" switch off "all" deviceces depending on the powervariables. All works fine and i only wanted this power all off macro to all sites but this punch through wont work. Although the copy of a press & hold macro won't work. The software only copies the press or the hold macro, not both. So you must copy twice. I hope you understand what i mean - sorry for my bad english.
