Prior to getting the 2 zone 673, I was able to use my URC-R6 universal learning remote to turn on/off my satellite box, TV, and receiver with a single button. I could also control all of the main receiver functions.

With the 673, I was able to teach the URC all of the main receiver functions {volume, mute, channel up/down, etc.} but for some reason the power on with a single button function turns on both zones (All On) at the same time and when I attempt to turn off all functions with a single button, the receiver cycles off but then right back on.

I know this is not a receiver issue since it turns on and off correctly when using the receiver remote. I suspect there are some issues associated with the main/zone two switch sending a different power on/off signal depending on which position it is in. As far as I can tell there is no "All On" function on the receiver remote.

I have seen some reports of success with the Harmony remotes but I really like the URC and would like to keep it. Before I spring for something else I am wondering if anyone has run into and solved this issue.
