If you unplug your hdmi devices, does it change to the proper input when you test the macro? If so, then go into the setup on your devices that use hdmi, and look for a setting that will turn off HDMI control. It may be turned on and interfering with your macros.
if the receiver still wont switch with hdmi devices unplugged, then you may need to find a better set of ir codes.
Thank You. I figured out the problem. There are three different types of Pioneer ir codes so I used all of them and than while selecting APPLE TV, I need to select "SAT" from the third Pioneer ir codes. Than, it goes into HDMI3. I do not know why but it is working.
I 've another question. As I have Fios (Motorola QIP7100-2) and DISH network (VIP222K) connected to my Sony TV via Monoprice HDMI 4x2 matrix switch. I 've connected my FIOS to HDMI2 (Input 2A) and DISH to HDMI1 (input 1A)But some I can not able to control monoprice Matrix switch. I tried learning the command from the monoprice matrix switch remote but no luck. When I run macro from the MX900, it does not go into correct input. I am not sure if it is due to both my receivers are always on that's why? When I turnoff the power of FIOS, it shows me"press menu to watch tv or turnoff TV". So I assume it is not completely off. And this is creating a problem for my Matrix switch to select the input. How do I solve this problem?
Also, How do I create a macro for selecting different options? Say I am watching FIOS and If I want to watch DISH than how do I create a macro? Currently, I managed to create a macro so I can switch the activity without turning off the TV. But some time due to matrix switch input selection TV is not selecting or displaying correct output.
How do I do this?
Thanks in advance.
