Hi,

I'm currently considering one of these remotes. Do either of them actually require an RF receiver to operate, or can they be set up as purely IR-only devices?

Thanks,

Graeme

They can both be setup to use IR, RF or both. In fact, this can be specified for each device individually.

Thanks for the info. I only need IR, so I didn't want to buy one and then find that it wouldn't work without the RF receiver :)
