I am teaching myself to program the TX1000. I have located codes for all my equipment so far with the exception of the following. I have a DirecTV R10 and Sylvania SRDV-495 VHS/DVD Recorder & Player. I cant find these specific units when I go to the IR Database Navigator in the TX 1000 Editor program. Can someone help me out with codes and how to get them into the remote. Are there equivalent units in the IR Database that I can use. Thanks for any help.

Barry

why don't you just directly input them via the original remotes? you'd be done by now.

Yes, i had this same issue with a HD Direct TV Reciver. What i did was make the key layout pages in the remote. downloaded to remote, put the remote into standalone program mode. and learned the buttons from the orig. remote. then when i was done, i uploaded the config and saved it.
-> Did you press the power button? <-
