OK,

I've programmed several of these remotes (over 5) and all of a sudden whenever i try and learn IR from remotes not in the DB it seems like its totally hit/miss as to whether or not it works. Am i missing something? I just press learn, have the original remote a few inches away, press the button i want to learn, and when the MX says good, i stop.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Aceman

Make sure the original remote has new batteries in it.

Try it from different distances, too much/too little IR can be a problem.

What device is it you are having trouble with? Some remotes are trickier than others.
