I purchased the MX500 to get rid of some remotes, but
my Samsung HT0HDP40 5 disc home theater system, doesn't
want to cooperate. It will turn on the tuner but nothing
else. There are no codes for this unit in the MX500 manuel.
Also I cannot program the channel up and down button for
the Cable unit Box scientific Atlanta model Exployer 8300
HD the button only works in the up position but not the
down.
Sorry if I am stating the obvious but have you tried learning the functions fron your original remote.
