Hello there,

I have a tx-1000 and am trying to setup a function on the main menu screen to turn my Onkyo AV receiver and my Panasonic either on or off. Currently I have to go into the tv and select on/off then go into the AV menu and select on/off. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

thanks,
-Doug

You have to program a macro to do what you want. Macros are where the power in this remote lies. If you haven't programmed any macros yet, then you haven't even taken full advantage of the remote yet.

Macros are groups of steps that provide a level of "automation" to your system, you should be using them.

You are going to program these through the software for the remote.

If you search around the forums, you will find more than enough information on how to properly set up your equipment.

Good Luck,
-jc
