Know this is insane, but was away for the week and my father-in-law pressed the remote too hard and cracked the glass plate. Can anything be done or am I looking at a new purchase?

Care to let us know what remote you're talking about?

MX-3000. Sorry I was not more explicit. Just thought this was a thread for that remote, only. Bottom line is that i inherited this remote and the system that it controls and I am no where near well-versed in its functionality or capabilities. My father-in-law became inpatient with the delay in shutting down the system and obviously pushed too hard, causing the glass to "spider-web" crack. Can anything be done to repair the remote?
