I have re-installed the editor twice and every time works right after the install but if I make changes and go to update the remote I get the check connection error. I did not change the settings, and have nothing else syncing up on my laptop.

One thing I'm finding odd is that it asks me to establish a new partnership each time. Also the Activesync program shows it connected and synchronized.

I'd reinstall ActiveSync. What version are you using?

(And chances are you'll get more answers in the future by posting in the Complete Control by URC section)

I had some sync issues and it ended up being problems on the remote. so since I had my file saved in my editor, I just reset the remote, and sync issue was fixed. then I just reloaded my files back! hope that helps
