I have three separate systems of MX-950/MRF 300's in the same home. one in a master bedroom running a cable box, dvd player and plasma tv, the next in the basement running just a 5.1 theater w/ cable box, and plasma tv and dvd, and the third in the family room running a 5.1 home theater with cable box, dvd, plasma tv with a zone 2 amp driving several other zone. This zone also has a second RFX-150 antenna to give better coverage for zone 2 operation when at the opposite end of the house.
other info: each of the RF base stations have a different address ID'd @ 1, 6, and 9. Each of the pieces of gear are port assigned with none of the gear set to "all". The IR blasters are turned off.
the issue: when client is using the system (watching cable tv) in the master bedroom, it will affect (I.E. change channels etc.) the family room system by also changing channels and responding to other cable box commands, but not the other way around (family room remote does not affect master bedroom).
URC tech support was as useless as tits on a bull. any suggestions are welcome. I do not see many RF issues with URC (even though others may have issues) and the ones I do run across are usually easily fixed, but this one is kicking my butt a bit.
thanks for the help

Do you have a cat5 at each location? I had a problem like that and I went to 1 rfx150 for the whole house and had no more problems. I know it sounds wierd but in that system I had planned on having 2 rfx-150 per mrf-300 and was having problems. Went to 1 rfx150 at each location and had less problems. Went to 1 rfx-150 for whole house and all the problems went away. The house has 5 mx-3000, 4 mx-350 and 2 mx-900 with 7 mrf-300 and it is a 11000 square-foot house. I was very amazed that 1 rfx-150 covered the whole house. The problem I was having was, it change 3 or 4 of the sat boxes sometimes but not others. URC could not help so I made a day of it and tried everything that I could think of and it was amazing what worked and what did not help.
Thanks J.Todd

it sounds as if your sending ir and rf and the ir is managing to get to the other system

Had the same issue a few months back. Pulled both RFX-150's and installed one RFX-250 and have never been back. The basic package I use is an MRF-300 w/RFX-250. I posted this problem here when it was happening and Eric Johnson replied with a wiring idea on the CAT5 for the second RFX-150 (Do a search). Tried it - worked a little better - but the RFX-250 was the fix. Anybody need any RFX-150 antennas, have a ton of them.

I do use the rfx250 most of the time but with the older mx-350 I had to use the rfx150. The new mx-350 are narrow band.
