I've had my MX700 for a couple of years and everything worked great. Now I switched to the HR20 HDR recorder from DirecTV and I had to completely remember/relearn how to program the remote. I can't figure out how to program for the feature on the new HR20 remote where you push a button and hold it to: 1. fast forward to hold/jump to tic 2. reverse to hold/jump backwards to tic 3. 30 second to hold/jump to end 4. 8 second replay to hold/jump to beginning 5. push/hold play to go to slow motion Can anyone explain how to program for buttons that have a 2nd function when you hold it down?
Thanks.

I was able to download the file and get "Play", "FF", and "REW" to work but I can not find "Advance" (Jump to end of program) or "Replay" (Jump to beginning) in the file. Am I missing it or is it labled something else?
Thanks for your help and posting the file.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. The Universal Browser does not display the "Advance" and "Replay" buttons of the MX-950. I've copied those buttons to Page 2 of the LCD screen, so you should be able to get them there if you redownload the file. Also, the discrete On/Off commands are from SAT 173 in the database.
BTW, the HR20 is now in the database if you update your software.

What feature of a remote am I looking for in order to get it to exactly duplicate the DirecTV HD-DVR hold/jump to tick features? (ie. not the workaround of hold, then press again)
I've had an MX-500 since it first came out. I still prefer this product family's layout over everything else I've seen. What's out there with the ability to learn long holds of buttons like this?
