I am interested in the mrf350 for its better rf handling but am not sure if it will work with the mx 850. The details on the mrf350 state that it works with the 900/950/1000/3000 series. however, the mrf350 is available as a package with the mx 850 @ surfremote. Do they work together?

It should, however I don't believe the MX-850 has narrow band RF, which means the main advantage of the MRF-350 won't be utilised.

The MX-850 does not have narrow band RF, but having the MRF-350 with the RFX-250 antenna means that it won't be picking up as much outside interference.

So, yes, it does work just fine with the 850.

Mike at Surf Remote is a very smart cookie and no doubt has put that package together for the very reason I mentioned above.
