While downloading from the PC to the MX800 I noticed that the IROUT and IRAMP test is showing FAIL, it passes the other tests.
If I pull the batteries from the remote and re-install them the test shows GOOD for IROUT and IRAMP. Both the IR and RF functions on the remote are still working fine.
I wonder if I'm going to have a IR failure in the near future? or if the PC download test has a bug in it?

It's probably normal. I don't have an MX-800 but I do have an MX-850, and it fails both of those tests. On the MX-850, it's completely normal, so I'd expect the same for the MX-800.
