Sorry if this is repetitive, but I did a search and came up empty.
I've been programming the small Prontos for a long time and just got my first iPronto. Can I simply copy and paste the IR codes from my pcfs into my new icf? If so, are there any limitations? Any potential problems I should be aware of? Am I better off learning the codes anew? It may be more efficient to learn rather than paste, but in a case of contaminated learning, it would be nice to know that I have another option.

You can copy and paste, however, sometimes iPronto Edit changes the codes. Sometimes you can copy and paste them, but they don't work.
I never had such problems. I copied all my stuff from Pronto Pro to iPronto and it worked.
Best regards,
Kalle

No, all done manually :-)
Maybe you should give it a try: Try to import you old file into iPronto edit. Then open your actual iPronto file (you can open several files).
Then it should be possible to copy whole panels (including your 200 IR codes) from one windows to another, I mean, to copy the old panel with the learned IR codes to the actual iPronto icf file.
There you can make this panel "invissible" but you can still use the learned IR codes in this panel. You an "jump" to them from other panels.
That's the fastest method.
Best regards,
Kalle

I have a 3000 and now an iPronto. You were successful in getting the IR codes over? if so, how did you do it? where is a place to get graphics for the ipronto?

iProntoedit can only import a ccf file and my codes are in a pcf file. Unfortunately there is no way to convert a pcf to a ccf, so unless someone has some really bright ideas, I'm stuck with learning the codes or cutting and pasting from 2 different programs.
iPronto graphics are the same as for other Prontos, png or bmp files. You'll find tons of them in the variousl Pronto files sections. If there are some specific graphics you are looking for, try doing searches on the Pronto NG forum.

Hi Jeffery,
no need to pay :-)
Simply explain your problem.
If I understand you correct, then you have a problem reading your old .ccf file into iPronto Edit and save it as .icf file?
Maybe you should download a complete .ccf file from here and try this to import it with iPronto Edit. Then download it to your iPronto device.
You should see a very small, ugly screen of a Pronto (or Pro) on your iPronto.
Maybe it's a problem with the ccf file?
Best regards,
Kalle

Kalle A BREAKTHRU, my firmware was out of date. Once I loaded it I could download. Now what is left is to convert PCF files or somehow copy ir codes to the iPronto.
