Can someone help answer the following?
1. Can you have multiple Iprontos in your house? Can you replicate any new macro's or additionals easily between the two?
2. Has anyone ever used the Ipronto with Elan's music server?
3. Has anyone ever used the Ipronto with a multichannel amp from Elan, Niles or Sononce?
I am seriously conscidering using the Ipronto to control my 6 zones vs. installing new keypads in every room. The Wifi and UI seem to ourway the traditional keypads on the market today.

1. Yes and yes
2. Can't help you with that one...
3. Again, can't help there.
I love my iPronto, but one area of functionality which the keypads have over the iPronto is that they respond instantly. With iPronto, when you first activate it from "sleep mode" it takes about 10 seconds (approximate guess, I've never counted!) to establish the WiFi connection, so button presses take a while. Only the first one. As long as it stays awake, the connection remains and subsequent presses are more or less instant. Not trying to put you off iPronto, just something to be aware of....
NB This does not apply to IR commands, only WiFi ones.

Thanks for the heads up. Good feedback on the pros/cons.
