I select an activity and all devices are turned on and set correctly. Later I pick up remote to change a channel or volume and I am at the main Activity Menu again, and Day and Time in the display are wrong. If I choose the same activity it tries to turn the equipment on again. I have to leave the room to get out of IR range, choose the Activity again, then return to change channel, etc. I need to re-program Harmony One via USB to get the Day and Time reset. This has happened 5 or 6 times in the last few weeks. What gives?

If you're sure that you're not accidentally hitting the Activity button, I'd say the firmware is hosed. Try redownloading the firmware.

Possibly a loose battery causing remote to reboot?

Thanks for the answers.
I can't say for certain that I'm not pressing any buttons when retrieving the remote from the cradle but even if I was, that wouldn't explain why the Day and Time settings were no longer accurate.
I re-seated the battery, then re-installed the firmware and programming. We'll see if that fixed the issues. Stay tuned.........

I have to leave the room to get out of IR range Mine does this as well but instead of leaving the room just put your hand over the front of the remote while you make the changes.

If I choose the same activity it tries to turn the equipment on again. What happens if you press just the Activities button? That should get you back into the Activity. Do the date and time matter? If they do and if the problem continues it's a case of the supplier or Logi support for a replacement.

Possibly a loose battery causing remote to reboot? Yup. That would also explain the clock going south.

I still don't know why you're still here. You don't own a harmony, you don't like them and you obviously don't want to help anybody. Don't you have homework to do?
