I replaced the 32.768Khz crystal inside my remote and now the glow light timeout is functioning again.
Those who have stopped clocks should also be able to get those going again with the same fix.
The xtal in question is the small cylindrical one. It's not surface mounted, not in my Harmony 360 anyway, and was a breeze to change.
