You can now perfectly arrange your LCD commands (and they
will keep that exact order on the Harmony).
You can also have different buttons and LCD commands for
each activity (Instead of being shared like they used
to be).
Too bad Logitech's Harmony Level 2 support staff didn't know about the latter since they told me that their site would automatically copy all of my sound modes to each activity that uses my A/V receiver. Two different Level 2 support tech's didn't know about this!
After adding 20+ sound-related buttons to my "Watch TV" activity I was quite disappointed that, despite being "sold" on the 880 by a Level 2 support person because of
this feature only to learn the hard way that I now have to copy the buttons over to each additional activity... manually... and tediously.
I wouldn't be as upset with this change had Harmony not dropped the "Sound" button from the newer remotes, like the 880.
For the life of me, I can't see why they would make this huge change without making it an option. If they have options for
glow time,
Harmony assistant why not
propagate buttons yes/no?
