Why can't I get the 520 to control this dish network receiver? I have this device a couple of times & yet can not get the remote to even turn on the receiver? Any suggestions>

Go to the Dish 508 device and select "confirm IR language". It will ask you to press a few buttons on the remote and it will assign the proper language and receiver address. If it still doesn't work check the menus on the 508 to see if there's an option to activate IR control.
