Have any of you experimented with time based commands, such as volume defaulting or having all of you components default to the correct input after a period of time?

Yes,
After I turn on the TV I have a delay for 10 seconds before it sends the input select commands.

I know everthing is measured in milliseconds, is there a max time that can be set? Say 10 minutes?
