I definitely plan to trade my Harmony for the new SST-768 model. What do ya'll think. Anyone else planning on trading up for the $100 credit?
...
Anthony, what do you think? Are you trading?

Actually, I'm 99% inclined to keep the little one, even if I do get the new one. It'd be a handy second-room unit, temp replacement, or gift.

I don't know yet 60/40. I like the idea of upgrading the unit, but there is also the new Pronto TSU-3000 that is coming out. I don't think I will go with both, so I still have to decide. I liked the old unit, but what I am thinking of doing is changing the # buttons into fav channels. That will make switching a lot more efficient then scrolling (I find myself constantly flipping channels from one to the other)

I'm going to trade up to the new one. Having the extra buttons should make the remote more Tivo friendly.

Yes, blue will match nicely with the rest of my decor. And I'm definitely getting the new remote (already ordered, in fact) - the lack of number buttons was my biggest complaint. As far as trading in the old remote, I'm not sure but I'll probably trade it in.

I already ordered the new one and will trade in my old one which is only 3 weeks old. I prefer the numbers. If anyone is interested on purchasing my old one, please e-mail me.

did you see the video, they look real cool. Too bad those stands were not chargers that would be a cool new feature to add to the next generation :-)

The red one's a little brighter than it appears in the video or the picture above. The blue and silver ones were my personal favorites.

A charger would be a great idea. The new models do come with a fourth AAA cell which is expected to add to the battery life.

that is good, three batteries was something I didd not like since AAAs are sold in even numbers, also if you decide to go with rechargeable you can't recharge three at a time

I use Rayovac Ni-Mh with 1-hour charger. Pretty good duration. You can recharge 3 at a time. And you can buy 4 pack and 2 pack and have 2 sets.

$200 after rebate seems a rather steep price to pay for a couple dozen buttons. New features I'd pay for:

- Faster USB data transfer. I shouldn't have to wait over ten minutes to update the TV listings. The extra memory isn't very attractive at the current speed.

- Faster response. Even with the new firmware my Harmony doesn't scroll as fast as I can flick the wheel.
