Hi, sometimes I turn on my CD player manually but if I do this the Harmony is in the wrong state (i.e. it might still be in the "Watch TV" state or the "Off" state). Howdo I reset the state on the Harmony without switching the CD off. I know about "help" but it asks lots of questions and turns everything that you say is On, Off. I really want to reset the state to "Listen to a CD" as that's what I'm doing! Help! Nick

Try cupping the infrared thingies in your hand (ie, hiding them from your hifi so they don't do anything) and switching to the activity you want.

You can also select your CD player from the menu, select all commands, and hit your power toggle. That's what I end up doing if I want to record and leave everything but the TV on. That way I can just turn the TV back on with the same toggle and I'm good to go.
Regards,
Bill
