Back on the cooking theme i have started cooking Jamaican fare ...stuff ..with rice n peas finding it hard to get goat in my local area.... but chicken rice n peas is consumed most readily by my family....
What new meals are you guys into or cooking now?

I have found the secret to great noodles recently... its oil and soy sauce ..cooked medium egg noodles (sharwoods are good) then drizzle a little oil , i made my own oil mixture of... olive oil but veg oil will do ..sesame oil ..garlic and ginger salt and pepper and a few chilli flakes and then a glug or two of soy sauce and bingo authentic tasting Chinese noodles. Anything i cook in that oil instantly tastes Chinese style the aroma is fantastic

It's not, strictly speaking, a Chinese dish, but the Star Anise and Cinnamon Stick do give it something of an oriental flavour.
